A new technique for us this season and a genuine labor of love. Trapunto creates a raised, sculptural effect by filling the design with batting after stitching, then carefully adjusting the fill and continuing to stitch. The result is a richly textured design with remarkable depth and dimension, bringing the artistry of handwork to life in a way that feels both timeless and unexpected.
Fine woven, durable cotton cambric fabric. Smooth hand feel and breathable. Coverlets are machine quilted and display a dimensional design. Sham has envelope closure. Euro has hidden zipper closure.
