The wood block for this design was one John first used for making carpets. Its large scale makes for challenging printing, but it's well worth the effort. The resulting circles of light and dark indigo somehow mesmerize the eye like a hypnotic wheel.
Printed on pure cotton voile: a soft, lightweight fabric with a smooth surface
Hand quilted. Quilt has coordinating stripe on back.
