Kori Bolles

Kori has worked for Bedside Manor for 11 years and during that time she's helped countless customers make their homes a little more special.

Her favorite room in her own home is her bedroom.
"I know when I go into that room I will be relaxed, comfortable and less stressed from the day," she says.

One of her favorite ways to relieve stress? Curling up in a soft set of Celeste sheets. "I love a percale," she says. "And just like Goldilocks says, this one is just right."
She launders her sheets with LeBlanc Linen Wash. The original fragrance is her favorite. "Another reason I love my bedroom!" she says.

Kori said the one product she can't live without is Lily of the Valley European Soap and its wonderful fragrance. Each 250-gram bath bar is hand-crafted, milled four times, in a small workshop in Marseille. Made from the finest ingredients including shea butter, pure olive and palm oils and natural fragrances from the Provençal countryside, these soaps are unlike any other bar you've tried.

If you need a gift idea, Kori suggests a nightgown. "We have such soft, breathable gowns that sleep just perfect," she says.

Lisa Gilleland

A fixture at Bedside Manor since 1999, Lisa had been working in the interior design industry previously in NYC and Cincinnati. When she and her husband moved to Charlotte, the retail environment at Bedside offered a welcome flexibility to her schedule (plus a close-knit team environment that she loves!). Her role has evolved over the years to include marketing and website design and she loves the many hats she wears for Bedside Manor now. "It continues to be an amazing company with great employees and customers, and I'm proud to have been a part of it for so long," Lisa says.

In her linen closet you're likely to find a set or two of Sferra sheets, the first luxury bedding item she ever purchased from Bedside Manor 20 years ago.

“It was a splurge purchase for us back then but after the first week, it was clear to me why they are a best-seller and totally worth it. They are so soft and just get more comfortable with each washing," Lisa says. "The deep pocket on the fitted sheet fits my mattress so well, and makes making the bed so much easier. Amazingly, that first set lasted eight years! Now, it's hard to sleep on anything else."

On her nightstand (and many other spots in her house), you're likely to find the Lafco Master Bedroom candle. "I love the chamomile lavender fragrance so much, I have the candle in my bedroom, guest room and bathroom," Lisa says. "It just makes me smile and feel relaxed whenever I walk by and catch a whiff of that fragrance."

If there's one product Lisa can't live without, it's LeBlanc's Linen Wash.
"Working for a linen store for over 20 years has turned me into a laundry snob. The fragrance and cleaning power of this detergent can’t be beat," she says. "And, the fact that you only need a small capful for each load appeals to my frugal side because the bottle lasts forever!"

Rilla Travis

Rilla moved to Charlotte from Atlanta, where she managed a bedding shop for nine years. Her background is in interior design but bedding is her passion. She's been at Bedside Manor for 18 years.

"My favorite room of the house is the bedroom, surprise!" Rilla says. "The bedroom is so much more than a place to rest your head. It can be a living room, family room, office and more."

Speaking of resting your head, Rilla prefers to rest hers on a Lucerne pillow while snuggled up under a Scandia Lucerne Lite comforter. Filled with 650 fill-power pure Hungarian white goose down and covered with silky-soft cotton Damask stripe ticking, Lucerne products are handcrafted in the United States and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and service for a lifetime (very important when you have two active sons and a puppy!).

"Bedside Manor carries the best bedding lines in the industry," Rilla says. If you need a gift idea this year, she suggests silk charmeuse pillowcases. "It is a wonderful gift that helps with your hair and skin," Rilla says.

Rilla and the rest of the team are excited to help you create the interior space of your dreams — even if you have no idea where to start. "Each consultation is a new experience to find the best fit. Sometimes it can be a challenge, but the most challenging, can be the most rewarding," Rilla says.
